Why we're hosting the Summit

By 2030, nearly one in four Canadians will be a senior. Most want to age safely and with dignity in the homes they love. The technology exists. The infrastructure to deploy it at scale doesn't. Closing the gap takes more than great technology. It takes partnership, integration, and the caregivers, care teams, and families who make aging-in-place possible.

No cost to apply. Applicants are responsible for all travel-related expenses.

Who owns the IP from the sprint?

Specific terms and conditions are covered in the participation agreement and NDA.

What kind of products are you looking for?

Fall detection, caregiver support, in-home monitoring, cognitive and emotional wellbeing, medication management, remote care, voice and AI, and connected devices. We're open to other categories in the space.

What's the time commitment for the sprint?

A meaningful share of your team's time over 90 days, with weekly meetings to align on milestones and associated progress with approximately 3–5 hours per week with the working team dedicated to sprint-specific milestones.

Do we have to be Canadian?

What stage of company are you looking for?

Commercially-ready. A working product, real users, and revenue or a clear path to it.

Can we apply if we've talked to TELUS before?

Yes. Existing relationships don't disqualify you, and they don't give you a head start. Every application is reviewed the same way.
